 Yellow Machines on Site

This morning, equipment from Clarkson Construction showed up at the future site of our stadium in KCK.

All six machines parked on the site with Nebraska Furniture Mart in the background.

The first dirt-mover pulls onto the stadium site in KCK.

The first two machines with a soccer ball on board.

Machine #3 rolling up.

The bulldozer crossing the intersection of France Family Drive and Village West Parkway.

All of the machinery parked with a soccer ball leading the way.

The view from the back of the NFM parking lot with Kansas Speedway in the background.

it looks like the stadium will be a reality now, but is this location good. Is it close to downtown, is it better than the FC Dallas stadium situation. Im a Houston Dynamo fan, and hopefuly they get their location good.I read that the area is very good, the comment i read came from the KansasCityWizards website. How good is this area. Is it like the proposed location for the Revolution.

Vic10,

It certainly ain't DeSoto, which is in the "not good" category. This falls in the "good" category, whereas Bannister is officially recognized as "very good".

as far as the location is concerned, i couldnt be more pleased. I was really excited to hear the wizards changed plans from having he stadium out off bannister (terrible location)to have the stadium in kansas. This is so great for the kck area which deserves this as the fans have been loyal and passionate. With a great fans base in kansas and the exciting LEGENDS area, the Wizards organization get a huge thumbs up !!
