Harrington a Hit at Sexy Singles Auction

As we told you last week, Wizards defender Michael Harrington took part in KC Magazine's Sexiest Singles Auction on Friday night.

Harrington, along with 20 other Kansas City area singles, had a date package auctioned off at the Voo Doo Lounge, with ticket and auction proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.

A lovely young lady bid $600 for Harrington's date package, which includes transportation from Pech Limousine. The date will start with dinner for two at La Bodega, after which Michael and his date will head to Dave & Busters for some game playing fun. The winner will also receive a flower arrangement from Shana Vaughn Designs, a Michael Harrington autographed jersey and two Field Side Reserve tickets for the Wizards season opener on March 27th.

When it all was said and done, over $36,000 was raised for charity on Friday night. Here are a couple of photos from the event:
