Give the Gift of Soccer (KC Bid)

Greetings everyone. We have been spreading the word in bits and pieces for some time now, and we've been steadily adding bid petition signatures and moving up the charts. Kansas City currently sits in 7th place out of the 27 cities still in the running to hold matches should the USA host the FIFA World Cup in 2018 or 2022. That's pretty good. We want to take it to the next level.

We are 120 signatures away from becoming the 7th city to surpass the 10,000 signature mark. We are also less than 750 signatures away from 4th place (currently occupied by Philadelphia). If every one of our followers on Twitter or half of our fans on Facebook get just ONE person to sign the petition, we will blog past the 10K mark and move easily into 4th place. Let's do it!!
