Why is Hartman not protected? He was spectacular this season. This is ridiculous!

at Kevin's age, its very unlikely he will be taken by Phily. It's a calculated risk of course...who would you have left unprotected instead? Remember you must protect 3 internationals...

I swear I saw that Roger Espinoza graduated from GA ... is this true? If so, I'd have preferred he be protected.

Souter over Hirsig? Leathers over Besler? Wolff over Hartman?

*sigh*

George, the post your referring to (from Ives I assume) was wrong, it had basically ever GA player on it (including Myers). That list has been updated, neither Espinoza or Myers graduated.

Ok, see that the GA list was wrong. Thank goodness.

But... no Besler ... that's just wrong.

Bye Bye Kevin Hartman. It was great having you in KC. Hello Boris and Eric. Thank you to our Technical Director and our Coach

The new franchise last year had an experienced goalkeeper to help hold the team together and it worked very well for them.

Keller 40 - Kevin 36 in May; not that old when it comes to a keeper.

We didn't lose him last year because Seattle already had Keller; this year Philly has no one.

Ives has us losing Hohlbein. I could handle that.

FYI Josh, San Jose didn't have a keeper either and they didn't take Hartman back in the 07 draft.

in the 07 draft it was clear yallop was already going to bring cannon up there...which is why kevin was unprotected for that...and the reason why kevin was replaced by cannon when yallop took over for LA i'm sure....a lot of philly fans are getting excited at the chance for hartman to go there (from reading the boards)...i hope it doesn't come down to that...i really think he's been a bright spot on our team even in such a dreary season...

Last Anon. Thanks for that info, I just forgot to mention it since I assumed everyone knew of the Cannon-Yallop relationship. In the 07 draft I had figured Yallop was bringing Cannon with him since he knew him and because the veteran leadership is really important for a new team. Had Cannon not been there I think Kevin might have been protected; I guess there is alot of talking behind the scenes before these drafts, but I still worry.
