RSL Takes MLS CupReal Salt Lake captured their first MLS Cup championship last night in their first visit to the League title game. Robbie Findley equalized for RSL after a shot from former Wizards forward Yura Movsisyan was blocked into his path. LA took the lead in the first half through Mike Magee after Beckham played Donovan into space and Donovan fed a beautiful ball to Magee at the back post.
In PKs, Landon Donovan missed high and Nick Rimando came up with two huge saves for RSL to win 5-4 in two extra rounds of kicks. Highlights below:
