 USMNT Highlighted in ESPN the Mag

More Nats news after Jimmy was named to the latest roster. The U.S. Men's National Team is once again highlighted by a major ESPN property, ESPN the Magazine. Luke Cyphers followed the team around during the last pair of World Cup qualifiers, joining the team in Salt Lake City prior to the 2-1 win over El Salvador and remaining with them through a 1-0 win away to Trinidad and Tobago. In other MNT news, Altidore, Donovan and Howard are up for the Honda Player of the Year Award. The winner will be announced October 20 in LA.

Probably not. Check out Goff's column (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/2009/10/usa-honduras_tv_update.html) for the full details, but as of this posting, there are only five bars in the country who have agreed to the extortion (sorry, rights fee) and will be carrying the game in English. There are allegedly several more Spanish establishments showing it, but it's still a bad precedent..
