USA Ties Costa Rica 2-2 Late
Jimmy Conrad celebrating with his USA teammates after last night's tie.I'm sure most of you saw the United States' dramatic come-from-behind tie last night against Costa Rica in Washington, D.C. Ives Galarcep broke down the performance at ESPN Soccernet. The tie helped the USA win the CONCACAF qualifying group and allowed Honduras to move into 3rd place and qualify automatically to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Costa Rica will now play Uruguay in a two-game playoff to attempt to make the tournament. Our own Jimmy Conrad was on the bench, and probably would have entered if Oguchi Onyewu's injury happened earlier before all three subs were used.

The USA team is playing well for couple of years.They went to the Confenderation Cup final some months ago and hope they will continue their successful streak in the World Cup.
