Hosting DCU for 2010 Home Opener

Claudio Lopez scored his first goal in a Wizards uniform in his first-ever game last year against DCU in the season opener at CAB.

That's right, as most of you have seen by now, we will host D.C. United next year for our home opener (which is also the season opener). The game will be played Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. CT. We will then travel to face the Houston Dynamo one week later for their home opener, also at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The full slate of MLS home openers for 2010 is available here at MLSnet.com. We've played D.C. United five times previously to open the season, including two home openers. We are 3-2-0 in those matches, including a 2-0-0 record in home openers.
