 Hartman to Surpass Henderson

With an appearance Saturday, goalkeeper Kevin Hartman will overtake former Wizards midfielder and assistant coach and current Seattle Sounders FC Technical Director Chris Henderson for 2nd place on the all-time MLS games-played list. In the win June 13 against New England, Hartman moved into a tie with Henderson with his 317th appearance. Hartman is still behind New England Revolution captain Steve Ralston who has played in 366 MLS regular-season games.

Hartman also has played every minute in his last 96 MLS matches, the longest streak in League history. He last missed a match in the middle of the 2006 season while still with the Galaxy.

Not a bad streak for Hartman huh? Want to give him kudos on it? Check out the Kevin Hartman fan group on Facebook.
