Jimmy just after the collision Saturday with Panama's Blas Perez. Image from Daylife, found through The Original Winger. Just got off the phone with Jimmy Conrad, and he says he's feeling better. No more grogginess just sitting around, but he can't get his heart rate up just yet. He told HR he suffered a concussion (obvious) and had post-impact amnesia for about 15 minutes after the collision (not as obvious). When he hit the ground, he scraped up his face and chipped a bone at the base of his thumb. They're taking it day-by-day as far as his availability, so no word on that. Jimmy will remain in camp and return to the Wizards no later than next Monday.
He said thanks for all the well-wishes and that he looks forward to getting back to health and getting out there for both the U.S. and the Wizards.

Look at the replay. I believe it was intentional.
