Well said coach. Convenient that the game was not being broadcast on TV.

Cant decide who's the bigger punk ass bi*ch: Montero or Okulaja ...both must be given a special CAB welcome next time we see them!

I LOVE the Seattle fans' comments in the article. Can't they just stay in their own little world and leave the rest of us alone?

I'm a Wizards fan. But, I'm tired of Onalfo's constant b*tching and whining about the officials. Do a better job of getting your team prepared, and you don't have worry about asking for the officials to protect you.

Thanks for the link, guys! Appreciate it...

it used to really bother me how positive Onalfo used to be. it seemed that he would always give pretty canned answers. i'm just happy that he's no longer "happy" and hopefully that can help fuel a great 2nd half run to the playoffs.

bfos,

In principle, I agree with you, but in both of Kansas City's Open Cup games this year, a penalty of dubious origins provided a game-changing moment - the second penalty against Minnesota was very light contact, if any; while this one was no contact before Montero's impression of Greg Lougainis - and by all rights, Onalfo should be pissed.

The best referee is the one that makes the least impact on the game, and Okulaja could hardly claim that.

A saying that a friend of mine has really sums up my feelings right now: "Players win games, coaches lose games, and referees ruin games."

I don't think it was a penalty. That being said I cannot stand listening to Onalfo say that the game plan was well executed.

Really? So 1 shot on goal in 90 minutes was the game plan. Let's play better and produce SOME offense and things like this influence less.

We have talent on the team, but Onalfo doesn't know how to use it. he needs to teach the team hoe to pass to each in the "triangle." And get someone who can actually kick a free-kick or corner to one of our own players! Not into the wall!

Anon 6:13 I'll agree with you on corners, but like half of Lopez's goals are off free kicks. He's a fine free kick taker when it's in shooting position.
