 Confederations Cup Watch Parties

The fine folks of Budweiser are sponsoring watch parties for all three of next week's USA Confederations Cup matches at the 810 Zones. The USA has a pair of matches at 1:30 p.m. CT with watch parties held at BOTH 810 Zone locations. For the match against Brazil that starts at 9 a.m., KC Hopps will be opening the Leawood 810 Zone at 8 a.m. Sports Radio 810 WHB will broadcast live from 810 Zone that morning, and breakfast will be served. Bud will offer specials throughout the week at 810 Zones in honor of the U.S. games.

Schedule:
• June 15, Monday, 1:30 PM, vs. Italy on ESPN
• June 18, Thursday, 9:00 AM, vs. Brazil on ESPN2*
• June 21, Sunday, 1:30 PM vs. Egypt on ESPN2

*Budweiser watch party will only take place at the Leawood 810 Zone.

In other news, a former Germany international wants to switch and play for the USA. His name is Jermaine Jones, and he's a pretty solid player for Shalke 04 in the Bundesliga. He's been capped three times by Germany, but all three came in friendlies. With the recent FIFA rule change allowing players to switch national teams after their 21st birthday, Jones is now eligible again to play for the USA.
