 Cristman Out/Guests in Iowa

As many of you saw yesterday in the KC Star, Adam Cristman will be out for some time with a fractured toe (the same toe that Chance fractured). His recovery time is expected to be 12 weeks. We'll give you more information on Adam's health/recovery as we get it.

We held open tryouts over the weekend, and they're already paying dividends. Austin Williams of William Jewell and Chad Becker of Rockhurst University will be accompanying the team to Cedar Rapids and will be available for the friendlies against Minnesota. The first team game starts tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. CT. Hillcrest will be on the scene with a live blog of the first game and more sporadic updates of Game 2, the reserve game. Also with the club for the trip are Josh White (formerly of UMKC) and J.D. Warman a former KC Brass player. Interestingly enough, Josh White also attended Blue Valley West, where he was a teammate of Matt Besler's for three years.

JD Warman is a cherry picker. Why would the Wizards want one of those? He never plays defense down at soccerdome.
