 COLD Weather at Training/Demo Photos

So the weather was nice when we left from the office, but by the time the guys started knocking the ball around at 11 a.m., it was quite chilly. New draft pick Graham Zusi saw his first time in Kansas City, as did trialist Ferenc Beres. Roger Espinoza and Jack Jewsbury were back in town after National Team duty. Several guys sat out for precautionary reasons with little bumps and/or bruises (Wolff, Cristman, Harrington, Morsink, Chris Brown). Kronberg remains out after off-season surgery, and Herculez was doing some rehab work today.

The guys did some positional work and shape drills to start, followed by some 10v10 on a smaller field. During the scrimmage, Abe Thompson hit a cracker of a goal from about 12 yards out, connecting with a volley in the center of the penalty area.

On the way back to the office, we stopped by Bannister Mall and snagged a couple of photos. Kaw Valley Construction is still knocking, ripping and tearing. A little more comes down each day.
